PTY terms exist in the RDS standard only in English. The RDS Forum has over many years collected the translations, authorized by the major broadcasters from the countries concerned

The PTY terms exist, apart from English, so far in the following languages: Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovene, Spanish and Swedish.

If your language is not yet covered, we invite you to submit a translation to the RDS Forum Office, and we shall then get this validated, through the EBU, by your national broadcaster, before adding it to the set of PTY Tables.
