RDS-TMC: What is it all about?

In this publication, the EPISODE Project gives an overview of many RDS-TMC issues, from political and commercial climates, through the technology, to editorial issues, and it gives guidance on the future prospects for TTI. The role and viewpoint of the public service broadcasters of the EBU is clearly seen in the European context.

It is hoped that the short articles which you can download seperately contribute to a better understanding of the new, important European developments in the field of Transport Telematics and TTI data broadcasting in particular. Well informed decision makers can then better locate and align a particular technology, such as RDS-TMC, with their organisation=s strategy for the further development and operation of future TTI data broadcast services.
