RDS standard maintenance and updating
The RDS Forum is currently collaborating with the IEC on updating the RDS standard. More than 200 million new RDS radios made now per year certainly make this an attractive task with the view to support also the future of RDS for the next decade to come.

Compatibility with existing receivers will of course be maintained.
FAQ: If we joined the RDS Forum now, is the membership fee for one year or only until the end of this year ? The answer is: for one year of course !
