Remember Rudi Gressmann

Rudi Gressmann was the Director of the EBU Technical Centre in Brussels from 1974 to 1985.

This was the time period during which RDS was developed by the EBU as an open broadcasting standard.

The sad news is that Rudi Gressmann died in April 2007 at the age of 86. Dietmar Kopitz, who worked 15 years directly for him, believes that Rudi Gressmann will still be remembered for long. Why ?
